Te Kāhaui Korowai Rangatahi – Youth Health Aotearoa delivers events for the workforce in youth/adolescent health. Our events range from webinars to in-person Special Interest Group (SIG) Days, regional events and conferences.
We collaborate with other youth health organisations both nationally and internationally, as well as tertiary institutions, to provide learning and networking opportunities across the motu.
We are pleased to be offering a national youth health conference in 2026 on 9-10 October in Kirikiriroa Hamilton.
During 2025 we offered a series of six webinars on youth health with the Australian Association for Adolescent Health (AAAH) delivered by The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) as well as an in-person regional event in Wellington

We look forward to coming together ā-tinana for two days of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshop sessions from experts in the field.

Te Kāhaui Korowai Rangatahi – Youth Health Aotearoa (formerly SYHPANZ) was pleased to collaborate with The University of Otago, Christchurch’s annual George Abbott Symposium, to offer a national youth health conference on 5-6 July 2024 in Ōtautahi Christchurch, supported by Research for the Children Aotearoa Collaborative.
We came together ā-tinana for two days of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshop sessions from experts in the field.
Keynote speakers and presentations included Dr Susan Sawyer, Chair of Adolescent Health in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne and Director of the Centre for Adolescent Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Dr Claire Achmad, Chief Children’s Commissioner and Dr Nick Fancourt.
