- promoting youth health as a desirable and worthwhile profession
- building a membership community of connected and well-supported youth health professionals and
- providing accessible and relevant education resources and learning opportunities.

- planning strategically and constantly learning about how we can improve and grow
- upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
- embodying Te Ūkaipō in our governance, operations, systems, communications and relationship management and
- building and maintaining strong and respectful reciprocal relationships with our funders and potential funders
